This cabinet is a perfect fit, and is a great storage place for our laundry room. It holds alot of stuff. Easy to put together. Great value for the price.

Assembly is not great
I’m not terribly impressed with this cabinet- -you get what you pay for I guess. Personally it looks like the white coating on this cabinet is very very thin- it’s almost patchy looking up close and not a nice solid coat of white (from a bit of a distance it looks fine though)Assembly is a bit of a bear, and aligning everything is not super straight forward because the hinge holes were not properly drilled. When you are supposed to line up the top of the doors so they are straight across the top, before attaching the hinges to the side panels, it became obvious that the hinge holes were not drilled in the right place on the side panels. If I had screwed it into the provided holes the doors definitely would have been wonky, so I had to make my own holes for a couple of the hinges so the doors would be even across the top. I will also say that we assembled an IKEA bookcase right after making this cabinet and overall the ease of assembly of the ikea shelf was MILES better than doing this cabinet.Also, almost every corner on these panels arrived with minor damage. It’s heavy enough that I think our delivery driver struggled, and dropped it and left it leaning and sitting on a corner when bringing it to our door. So delivery is a bit of a risk.Also of note- The doors will absolutely have about a 1/4 inch gap between then, and as far as I can tell it’s unavoidable. It’s difficult to move because there’s not a good place to hold onto it when trying to lift it slightly off the floor and walk it into position. I recommend assembling as close as possible to where it’s going to go, so you aren’t dragging this thing across your floors.Overall, we needed a cabinet for our rental because there is no linen closet, and it’s doing the job, but it’s certainly not the nicest item. If you can afford even a slight price bump but don’t want to spend too much, you’d likely be better off getting a cabinet or bookcase with doors from Ikea.

2-3 Years Later and We Still Love It
We have had this for about 2-3 years now and we love it! It moved well from our apartment to our house, it was easy to assemble, has a good size storage capacity (I can fit all of our medical supplies on the top, snacks on the next shelf down, baking supplies on the 3d shelf and have room for overflow items such as cereals, and other boxed items on the bottom). The only issue is that the back is pretty flimsy so I accidentally has the backing unstick from one side because I overloaded it and pushed it too far backwards. This was an easy fix though. I’d highly recommend getting one of these if you need some space in your home. It is a little taller than me and I’m 5’4. The width is thin compared to a large wardrobe sized storage so it’s not too bulky for the kitchen or another small room.

Extremely disappointed
This arrived yesterday and I put it together this morning. I could kick myself for not wiping down each piece and inspecting it before putting it together. The way it goes together requires you to put the doors on the floor and build it up from there, which is different from any other I’ve ever built. As a result, there were some things I didn’t even notice until I put it together. I stood it up and started wiping it down with a dust cloth, but many of the spots I thought were dust and packaging turned out to be scratches, some of them big, all over the front doors. It was built on a special wool covering that I use when building furniture just to make sure I don’t scratch anything, so I know it wasn’t me. Then when I wiped down one of the sides, close to the bottom I noticed a huge scratch going all the way across. When I got close to it I realized it was more than just a scratch; it was a crack in the particle board all the way across it!! I never even saw it. That was the side that attached to the doors first and the way it was facing, I wasn’t looking at that side. So now I have this thing put together that not only looks bad, but is structurally unsound. I tried clicking on the link they have to contact ClosetMaid if we have any issue, but each time I’ve tried, I get the message that it can’t be found. I’m not even sure what to do at this point. The box was thrown out this morning and it is put together, so how can I even return it to Amazon? I will try to add pics or video to this review. UPDATE: Amazon Customer Service made it right for me.

Good shelving… Poor quality
For the one I got, the pilot holes for the door hinges on the bottom left, and the top right, were crumbling and disintegrating (It’s particle board) so the screws they included weren’t big enough to hole. One of the hinges was also broken. The shelves themselves are nice and strong though, and that’s really what matters.

Good Purchase
My son put the cabinet together for me in about 20 minutes including anchoring it to the wall. Nothing was missing and nothing was broken. I purchased the first cabinet in Sep 2024 the another in Nov 20024. My son put the second one together also. Again, no problems with the cabinet. It is now July 24 and they both look like new. I’ve been keeping an eye on the cabinet at Amazon because I would like to purchase several more, but the price seems a bit steep for “engineered wood,” I hope the price comes down soon.

UPDATE: company was willing to reimburse me at 15%..that really doesnt cover the damaged For some reason I did not recieve notification this product was being delivered. Once I opened the box I noticed the pieces were damages. Although it was easy to assemble and instructions were clear, it is not worth the $$$. Not to mention that it is damaged in a few spots.

Sure wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. At 69.99 this cabinet would be over-priced. With tax I paid $455.54 for cheap, pressed wood, garbage hinges and ugly plastic handles. I feel as though I have been cheated. Never again! I’ll be looking up the return policy.
