Great Purchase!
I absolutely love these curtains. The material is high quality, and the design is very lovely and elegant. I was able to hang them immediately without ironing. They are truly blackout curtains, so they work well in the bedroom. When the sun hits them, they produce a golden glow while still keeping the room darkened. I am very glad I chose these curtains. The birds make me smile.

I live in the South. It is so HOT now. I wanted some curtains that I could use to block some of the constant light coming into my den. The room gets direct sunlight and makes the space hotter than I want. After looking at many different curtains, I settled on these. I wanted something with the same color scheme as the ones I had (which I will use in the winter when I want that heat from the window). But for the Summer, I wanted these to block and keep the space cooler. After unpacking them, I was so surprised how beautiful they were. The fabric feels rich and LUCIOUS. They have a great weight. They weren’t wrinkled at all and hung well. I wanted them to puddle on the floor, but I ordered the 84 in length so that I didn’t have to move the rods when I switch them out in January. I may have to remove the hem because they are not touching the floor. And again, I don’t want to adjust the rods. I think it will be fine. The color is a soft shade, not as dark as pictured on the site. I’m going to paint this room, so I think with a darker wall, they will pop more than they do now with this beige color.I’m using these in a den area, but they would be great in a bedroom or even a living room. The fabric and design would work in many areas of a home. They feel more expensive than they were. I love the birds on the design. I have a blue/grayish sofa, and the birds have a lot of colors on them (blues, red, yellow, green) that accent the couch.I’m very pleased with this purchase. I’ll update a picture when it is brighter in the room.

These drapes are absolutely beautiful!
I love these drapes! Even my husband loves them, which is saying a lot. I got the grey and teal. I was a little nervous because I couldn’t find reviews on this color set. When I opened the box I was terrified, because the background of the drapes looks like a darker grey color, as opposed to the white or very light grey I was expecting. But once I hung them, it looked lighter, like I was expecting.They only block about 80-90% of the light, but that works fine for my living room. We are still able to get it nice and dark for watching movies or sleeping. One of my pictures shows them hung next to my old drapes which have 100% blackout. The picture of them up completely and closed, I had to turn lights on in the living room, so that I could see the drapes, because it was too dark to see them well without the inside light. The pics were taken with full afternoon sun shining directly into the West windows, so you can see they do great blocking it.The fabric is absolutely beautiful. It is soft to the touch and has a nice distinct and clear print on it. The quality is exceptional, and I see no problem with my hems not being straight (which some of the older reviews mentioned).

Will save your heating bills, and darkens the room!
These are really darkening. Even though it seems like light is coming through the curtains it is definitely dark in the room. The picture below shows on the left; windows with the blinds down. The right is our porch door which has no blinds. These were tested during a heatwave with heat index of 106, and the temp in the apartment stayed very cool. Usually the inside temp will jump 5 degrees in the afternoon but with the curtains the inside temp rose 1 or 2 degrees. The color is beautiful and classic looking. Very strong and silky smooth material. Great purchase for the price. Works very well in my opinion. The size was perfect, I usually do 84” but went with the 54”. These curtains also do the trick when it comes to watching movies in the day time. Really darkens the room.

Direct sun on interior side fades
Great curtains, quality fabric, blocks out light and heat very well. For that alone they serve the purpose I needed, for large south facing windows. However, when the curtains are pulled back, the edge of the curtain gets direct sun. So the leading edges faded. The back of the curtain did not fade, only the front where sun hit it on the edge. If it weren’t for the fading, these would get 5 stars.

Works well for my needs.
I purchased these curtains for my sewing room. I didn’t care if they were blackout but wow they do work! So if you’re wanting black out they are great. I got them because I love birds and black berries. Everyone who has seen them thinks they are pretty. The fabric is fine for a curtain I’m not planning on using them to make a dress…they are well made they have large ring holes for the curtain rod, the rod I have isn’t the kind you use for these. But it works fine for a sewing room.
