Hours of fun that may need a slight fix
Hours of fun. On a side note if it stops working and just flashes when pushing the on button like one of ours did. There’s a small plastic door on the bottom that takes a special screwdriver to open with a micro SD card inside that came loose in it’s holder just bend it’s tab’s a little and it will turn on perfectly.

Do not waste your money
This is an expensive piece of trash. The first one broke and said to return the pixie to the lantern, she hadn’t even had the zip ties removed from her, so we sent that one back. We got the replacement and my daughter finally got to use it. She ran those 4 initial AA batteries in an hour or 2 (this thing will cost you a TON in batteries if you can manage to get one that works) so I grabbed 4 brand new batteries and loaded it back up, and…….nothing, no power. Ok, so maybe there was a dead battery in that bunch. So I opened a brand new pack of batteries and replaced the already new berries in the lantern and….. Again, nothing.At this point, my daughter is completely distraught, she saw this thing in an Amazon Christmas catalog that they sent me. Never again will I allow them to see this catalog. So now I get to see if they will take another return because she wants to pay with this thing so badly. Save your money and sanity, avoid the headache and just DO NOT hit that Add to cart or Buy Now button, get a dog instead, that will lead you to less frustration then this lantern will.

Yes it goes through batteries fast. Otherwise it is an AWESOME toy. Worked perfectly and lots to do.

Disappointed
This product has been very disappointing. When it works, it’s been great, but the times it does not work is far more often than when it works. The key does not always function properly, it turns off randomly, and the amount of batteries we have used is astronomical. It is not worth the money. It will cause more frustration and disappointment in your kid than its worth.

Fun!!
This was a gift for our niece and she loved it! The colors are so vibrant and it was very easy to use for a 5 year old. The size was appropriate and she had dropped it and so far it seems fairly durable. This is such a fun toy and we would definitely recommend it!

Pretty rough learning curve but once it’s set up it’s easy for my 7 year old to use. She loves earning points to “buy” new characters.

It doesn’t work!
I was very disappointed it did not work. My first purchase from this toy brand & it didn’t work! I changed the batteries 3 times and did not come on. I decided to just return it after I saw some reviews. A lot of people’s products did not work or if they did get a replacement, it stopped working after awhile it does not sound like it’s for longevity also, I heard the battery drains a lot.

My daughter got this for Christmas and it was flat, so I changed the battery that day. We spent all of Boxing Day out with family and she hasn’t been playing this exclusively but the batteries are flat again and it’s 28 December.It’s frozen a few times.You have to earn points to spend and upgrade games, outfits, etc- but the purchase menu is in the settings menu.The screen is on the back wall of the lantern, so you have to peer in to see the fairy and screen, it would have been so much better to have the screen closer to the front. This is a sore neck in the making.The fairy pops out really loudly and has a very strong spring, but the key needs a bit of juggling to get into place and it took us all a few tries to know when it was ‘in’.This toy has a long way to go and it was expensive for them premise and the construction.

Bien lire les instructions avant ouverture du jouet. il faut des nouvelles pilles avant de commencer obligatoirement. pilles fournis sont presque mort. mon enfant a pus ouvrir le jouet et jouer 5-10 mins avant que les pilles meurent par complet. et il me semble que les nouvelles pilles meurent rapidement aussi. pour le prix je trouve que il manque de lá research pour le consommation d’énergie.

Great toy! We got this for our 6 year old for Christmas and it was even better than we expected. She’s had hours of fun so far, and likes that she can take the fairy out of the lantern to play with as well. Not just a toy that gets opened and forgotten about after the initial fun. 10/10
