Calming and fresh scent
I love this candle! The dried lavender and oak blend is subtle but relaxing — not overpowering at all. It fills the room with a clean, natural fragrance that’s perfect for winding down after a long day. Burns evenly and lasts a long time. Definitely one of my favorite Yankee Candle scents!

ZERO THROW
The lavender and oak candle smells soft and woodsy every time you open the jar….unfortunately, the only way to get the scent after it’s lit is by sticking your nose four inches above the flame. It’s been burning longer and more evenly than most Yankee jar candles, just doesn’t have any throw.

The candle arrived well packed like an other Yankee Candle, but this one had its wax melted and settled on one side of the bottle. It appears that the bottle was on its side when it got warm enough to melt the wax, have it settle on the sideways bottle, then solidify. There was no wick in sight as it was buried in the sideways wax. We had to warm up the jar, and while the wax melted, the wick in the middle tilted in a strange way and we had to dig around in hot wax to right it up. It was an unpleasant mess.

These candles are very nice fragrances. I have 3 large dogs so these candles leave a warm glow and wonderful scent not to hurt my dogs senses. They last long and I have two burning at all times we are home.
